A little background on Shipley
Shipley is a character town in West Yorkshire, now on the outskirts of Bradford, which expanded in the industrialisation of the area principally through being a mill town. Shipley also contains the village of Saltaire, now a World Heritage Site, planned by Sir Titus Salt to house the workforce of Salts Mill. The Mill buildings now house a Gallery and shopping complex.
A surprising amount of elegant terraced victorian houses and cottages as well as detached properties have been built in Shipley. These do have issues as would be expected in properties of this age and a survey is recommended if you intend to purchase one of these period properties.
We are happy to discuss your requirements and quote for any proposed building survey, house purchase report, or other professional property work required. We offer a wide range of services to suit all budgets.
